God's Love Toward Us

Sixteen Qualities
1Corinthians 13:4 - 8, HBFV
Love is patient and is kind; love envies not, does not brag about itself, is not puffed up.
Love does not behave disgracefully, does not seek its own things, is not easily provoked, thinks no evil, does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth.
Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
Love never fails.
End Time Chill
And because lawlessness [breaking God's laws] shall be multiplied, the love of many shall grow cold (Matthew 24:12, HBFV).
The world, as we draw closer to Jesus' Second Coming, will increasingly become a dangerous place to live. Humanity's slide into chaos is, and will be, fed by an increasing prevalence of deception.
This slide will be exasperated by more humans rejecting what the Bible teaches and replacing it with their own strongly held opinions of what is right and wrong (Matthew 24:4 - 5, 10 - 11).
Trust is one of the foundations not only of a successful society but also of love. As sin becomes more dominate in the world, people will protect themselves by assuming all others seek to take selfish advantage of them. As all levels of relationships break down, and trust becomes a rare commodity, the love of many will turn stone cold.
